ChiView for staff

ChiView is used to access information held in the student record system (SITS).

It is accessed via chiview.chi.ac.uk or from the link in Staff Intranet.

For students ChiView is the registration & enrolment application used to manage their application (initiated by UCAS) through to acceptance. Students also use ChiView to apply for Halls of Residence, and to complete their IT account registration.

If accessing student information is necessary for your role, your line manager will request an account for you via SupportMe self-service.

ChiView for staff includes

  • Student reports
  • Applicant reports 
  • Academic adviser information

The tutor / admin side of Module Assessment Feedback (MAF) is also accessed through ChiView.
