File storage for staff

As a staff member you have access to cloud storage and onsite storage - explained below.

OneDrive (cloud storage)

You can upload data to your OneDrive account. Illustrative image

OneDrive can be accessed from Email (Office 365) via the apps menu. Illustrative image

The OneDrive app is also available for Windows, Android, and iOS.

H-Drive (on-site storage)

Staff have 50 GB storage on the H-Drive Illustrative image which includes data stored on the Windows desktop.

You can access H-Drive by opening file explorer on a University Windows PC, then from the 'Quick Access' menu choose ‘Documents’. Illustrative image

Alternatively, from personal devices you can access your H-Drive using the Remote Access service.

S-Drive (department shared storage)

Everyone in your department has full access to a shared folder e.g. S:\Departments\Finance.
