Your campus card displays the following information:
- Your name
- Your student number (applicant number): 7 digits e.g. 1508547
- Your library borrower number: 8 characters e.g. 1508547X or 15085473
(this is typically your student number followed by an extra character or number)
Your campus card is also your library card.

Uses of campus card
- Printers / photocopiers / scanners:
Tap your card
to access your print queue
Before first use, your campus card must be activated (see printing page)
- Door entry:
Tap to gain access to various buildings on both campuses
including the Student Union
- Library services:
Use library self-service machines to borrow books and other resources
You will find your 8 character library borrower number on your campus card
- Student Attendance Management (SAM):
The University records attendance for timetabled sessions.
Most teaching spaces have card readers, make sure you tap-in with your campus card
