Accessibility for PCs and Macs
Accessibility settings can be customised on university computers.
On Windows computers use ‘Ease of Access’
and on Apple Macs use ‘Accessibility’.
Moodle accessibility tool
You can customise Moodle display settings through the accessibility tool, which found in the user menu.
e.g. to set your preferred colours and fonts.
Inspiration 9
Inspiration 9 can be used to create mind maps for assignment planning.
Texthelp Read & Write
This software includes on-screen text to speech, and other tools to help with reading and writing.

SensusAccess
SensusAccess allows automatic conversion of documents into a range of media including audio books, e-books, and digital Braille.
It can also be used to convert inaccessible documents into a more accessible format.

Training
The University IT Skills team offer support, advice, and training on accessibility software for students, staff, and partners.
Sessions will be advertised throughout the year via email, and also published on the IT Skills online calendar.
