Reporting suspicious emails

Different methods have been made available to students and staff which allow you to report emails which are considered as either Spam or Phishing.

Spam or Junk emails are often classed as unsolicited emails which may focus on advertising and selling goods or services. You may have never signed up for these emails in the first place. A large number of Spam or Junk emails may be received in a small time frame.

Please note that the SIZ telephone and online chat service will start 15 minutes after SIZ opening times, and close 15 minutes before service closing time. During non semester hours lines close at 5pm.

LRC opening hours indicated as self-service hours are for University of Chichester staff and students only, with security cover in the building.  During self-service periods entry is via campus card only.  

Visitor access to our Library Services

Members of the public may use all open access material for reference use only. We also offer a ‘Walk-in Access’ scheme for use of Microsoft Office, our electronic resources, and Wi-Fi access to the internet. To arrange this please visit the reception desk and bring both a photo ID and a proof of address. If you wish to have borrowing rights then you may apply to become an Associate Member.

Use their visual design to efficiently communicate your message or ideas. SmartArt graphics can be created in Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.

Dictation

The Dictation feature allows you to speak into your microphone, and Word will convert your speech into text. Here’s how to use it:

Check Your Microphone: Ensure you have a working microphone connected to your computer.

Open Microsoft Word: Launch Microsoft Word and open the document where you want to use dictation.
