Staff- Set up an Online Assignment in Moodle

 

To set up an online submission area on a Moodle page:

  • Navigate to your Moodle page and turn editing on 
  • Click on add an activity or resource at the end of the section you want it to appear in 
  • From the activity list, select...

  • Click the submission link on the Moodle module page
  • On the submissions overview page you will see the number of submissions expected and received
  • Click the view all submissions button to see more information
  • You can extend the page by clicking...

    How to grant an extension

    Extensions can only be granted by the Module Co-ordinator or Departmental Administrator.

    To grant an extension to a student:

  • Click the submission link on the Moodle module page
  • Click the view all submissions button to see more information
  • Identify the student using...

    Download annotated submissions from Moodle and upload to MAF Online

    Once the student assignment has been annotated, you will see the annotated PDF in the submission area in Moodle (in the Annotate PDF column):

  • Download the PDF by clicking on it
  • Save the PDF
