Using social media responsibly

Social media tools such as Instagram, X, TikTok and Facebook are a part of everyday life. Used well, they can add to your learning experience at university, and make you more employable when you graduate. But used poorly, they can cause lasting damage to you and others.

Your responsibility

By enrolling as a student at the University of Chichester, you agreed to abide by the University’s IT strategies and policies, including the University’s statement on the use of Facebook and other social media networks.

Interlibrary loans

If you cannot locate the book or journal article you require on the library catalogue or eResources then you can request it as an Interlibrary Loan. This enables the delivery of books or documents from the British Library or from another participating university library.

The Inter-library loans service is not available to Academic Partnership students.

Mitigating circumstances

Any undergraduate or postgraduate student who believes that they have serious and unexpected short-term personal or medical circumstances which have impacted on their ability to submit, or that have seriously affected his or her performance in an assessment, and which he or she wishes a Board of Examiners to take into consideration is advised, before the point of assessment, to complete the online application form (located under the student’s ChiView account) on mitigating circumstances, and submit it with appropriate independent corroborating documentary evidence to the Ac
