HEAR (Higher Education Achievement Report)

The HEAR is a University-verified online document that records a student's broader achievements, as well as their programme and module details and results. The HEAR is added to during a student's time at the University and a final HEAR is released to applicable students when they complete their studies.

A full HEAR can help students demonstrate their achievements to an employer.

More information:

Are you eligible to receive a HEAR?

All undergraduate and foundation degree students based at either the Chichester or Bognor Regis campuses of the University are eligible for the HEAR. If you have not received a registration email and believe you are eligible to receive a HEAR please raise a help call via Support Me or at the SIZ. (Please note: user name and password reset issues are dealt with directly via the Gradintelligence website and not via the SIZ or the University's Help site).

Library loans

All current University of Chichester staff and students have full free access to the Library Service.  You are automatically a member of the library when you join the University. Your campus ID card is also your library card and you will find your library account number on your campus ID card.  Students can also borrow items using the barcode on their ChiView account on their mobile phone.

Emergencies (including first aid)

The University’s emergency phone number operates 24 hours a day for on campus emergencies: 01243 816363 (extension 6363 from an internal phone). This number can be used to request first aid support, or to report security issues or lift breakdowns.

Where appropriate please call 999 for emergency services but, where possible, all call 6363 afterwards so the Estates team can escort emergency vehicles to the incident location when they arrive on campus.
