The following resources from Learning and Information Services (LIS) are available to support your studies:
Study skills
Critical thinking, referencing, essay planning, dissertations, revision and exams…just some of the subjects covered by the Academic Skills Adviser. Workshops, one-to-one sessions, videos, and written guides are all available.
Library
Each subject has a dedicated Moodle page summarising the library resources available to you. ChiReadingLists gives quick and easy access to module reading list items. Your subject librarian can help you with all of these and more; they are available for one-to-ones as well as queries by email or phone.
IT Skills
Support, advice, and training for all students on a range of IT skills and learning technologies (including assistive technology) is available from the Skills team. Request support via the SIZ, or contact the Skills team directly.
Printing and PrintShop
The Print and Imaging Service offer a wide range of high quality and specialised printing at competitive prices for your student work as well as any other personal or commercial printing needs. The PrintShop is located in the Old Chapel at Bognor Regis Campus.
Office ProPlus for Free
As a student, you are entitled to a free copy of Office 365 ProPlus for the duration of your course (Word, PowerPoint, Excel etc).
Microsoft Remote Desktop (RemoteApp)
If you are working on a personal device, you can use Microsoft Remote Desktop (RemoteApp) to access University applications such as SPSS, your H Drive file storage, or to remote control an open access computer. You can be on or off campus to use it.
The App
The University’s app is a quick way in to services such as email, timetable, Moodle, and ChiView. You can also access the maps website there. More information and links to download the app.
Password manager
You can use Password manager to reset your University password or unlock your account.

LRC opening hours
Both Learning Resource Centres operate extended hours over busy periods, please check the Opening times help page for up to date opening hours.
Remember that you can book a computer through MyPC, up to 14 days in advance.
