Inter campus and subsidised local bus services

Timetables

Timetables for the services outlined below can be found at bus.chi.ac.uk, and travel information can be found on Moodle.

Service name: U7, U8, U7N

Service description: operated by Stagecoach. The University provides a subsidised intercampus bus service between our Chichester and Bognor Regis campuses.

Service name: No. 50 Bus

Service description: operated by Stagecoach, this service travels between Chichester Cathedral and the Bishop Otter Campus.

Service name: No 700 Bus

Service description: opearted by Stagecoach); the local ‘Coastliner’ service which connects Chichester Bus Station and Bognor Regis campus.  

Students living at Stockbridge Halls studying on a split campus or Bognor based course (only) may access this service at a subsidised rate during the week using pre-bought tickets from Stockbridge reception.

 

At the weekends, ALL UoC Students can use the 700 bus service between Bognor Regis and Chichester for a set fare of £2 single or £2.75 return (on production of a valid UoC Student Card).

 

Tickets

For students, travel between the campuses on U7, U8, U7N is free when you show your campus card. Travel on the 50 service is chargeable and pre-paid, subsidised tickets are available from the Support and Information Zone or Students’ Union Shop.

Staff can purchase pre-paid tickets from the Support and Information Zone or Students’ Union Shop to travel at a subsidised rate. It is not possible to purchase this rate on the bus.

Cycling

There are covered cycle stores at both campuses. Access to the stores is with your campus card.

Showers are available on both campuses.

Lockers are available in the John Parry building at Bognor Regis, and the Tudor Hale building at Chichester.
