Campus parking

Students must display both a validation permit and a scratch card when parking on campus.

Staff must display a validation permit and a scratch card when parking on campus (monthly permit for those who have chosen that method).

Validation permits and scratch cards can be obtained from the SIZ counters.

Scratch cards are £1.20 a day for students and £1.75 for staff (September 2016).

Please be aware that parking regulations are in force on campus. Information on parking regulations can be found on your intranet (Moodle) or Staff Intranet. 

Free parking is available at Bognor Regis in the London Road car park. You must park only in the area designated as for use by the University and display a validation permit.

Inter campus and subsidised local bus services

Service description: operated by Stagecoach. The University provides a subsidised intercampus bus service between our Chichester and Bognor Regis campuses.

Service name: The Uni Flyer

Service description: operated by the University, The Uni Flyer is a sixteen seat mini bus service which runs from 9.30am to 5.00pm, Monday to Friday, between the Chichester and Bognor Regis campuses. Stagecoach tickets for the day and the Stagecoach Bus Pass will also be accepted

Service description: operated by Stagecoach, this service travels between Chichester Bus Station and the Bishop Otter Campus.

Students and staff can purchase pre-paid tickets from the Support and Information Zone or Students’ Union Shop to travel at a reduced rate. It is not possible to purchase the reduced rate on the bus.

Safety bus service

Working in partnership with the University, the Students' Union operates a night time Safety Bus service during semester time. There are 2 buses in operation servicing both campuses.

The safety buses offer a flexible service including a shuttle between halls/campus, inter-campus and from campus to your door (within a reasonable distance of campus) for £1 a seat. The service operates until late so is great if you have been studying, attending rehearsals, involved in other University activities or at either of the SU venues.
