To share a mailbox you are owner of, make sure you are logged in to Windows as yourself.
This guidance applies to Generic accounts, which are email accounts created before April 2024, and will have a network account associated with them.
Please note: this example uses Microsoft Word. The process is similar for other Office apps (Excel etc).
Microsoft Word automatically saves your documents every 10 minutes (approximately). You can check how frequently the save is running by opening Word and selecting the File tab > Options > Save > and look at the value in the Save AutoRecover information every (number) minutes line.
If you cannot locate the book or journal article you require on the library catalogue or eResources then you can request it as an Interlibrary Loan. This enables the delivery of books or documents from the British Library or from another participating university library.
The Inter-library loans service is not available to Academic Partnership students.
All current University of Chichester staff and students have full free access to the Library Service. You are automatically a member of the library when you join the University. Your campus ID card is also your library card and you will find your library account number on your campus ID card. Students can also borrow items using the barcode on their ChiView account on their mobile phone.
Access to individual eBooks purchased by the University of Chichester. VLeBooks are available through the online Library Catalogue or via eBooks on the Library Moodle page.
