Scanning to OneDrive on University Printers
University Printers allow you to scan documents directly to your University OneDrive. This uses third party software provided by a company called Papercut.
First Time Setup
When you first Scan to OneDrive on a University printer, you will be asked to give Papercut permission to access your OneDrive.
When you first scan a document to OneDrive you will receive an email like the following.
To complete this process, select the ‘Login to OneDrive for Business’ button, and authenticate to your University network account.
You will be prompted to give Papercut access to your account.
Feel free to review these permissions and Accept the permissions if you are happy to proceed. You can revoke Papercut’s access to your University OneDrive at any time (see the next section).
Once Accepted, you will then receive a follow up email to report that the authentication has been completed.
You can find your scanned documents in the ‘/Apps/Scans for Papercut MF’ folder.
