HR self service - Updating your personal email address

Option 1 - if you have already registered your personal email address

  • Log on to Staff Intranet
  • Click ‘HR Self-Service' Illustrative image
  • Log on with your university username and password Illustrative image
  • Open the 'Personal’ tab from the top menu Illustrative image
  • Look under 'Contact information' and check your personal email address is correct Illustrative image
  • If you need to edit your email address click the edit icon in top right corner Illustrative image
  • Edit your email address then save Illustrative image
  • Please note: HR Self-Service and Password manager update each evening, so the changes you make to your email address may not take effect until around 20:30

 

Option 2 - if you haven't yet registered your personal email address

  • Log on to Staff Intranet
  • Click ‘HR Self-Service' Illustrative image
  • Log on with your university username and password Illustrative image
  • Open the 'Personal’ tab from the top menu Illustrative image
  • Click the '+ add' button within the 'My personal details' section Illustrative image
  • Click 'Add contact details’ Illustrative image
  • For 'Contact type' set the dropdown list to ‘Personal E-Mail Address’ and for 'Contact at' type in your personal email address Illustrative image
    then click 'Save' at the bottom
  • Please note: HR Self-Service and Password manager update each evening, so the changes you make to your email address may not take effect until around 20:30
