The SIZ service will be closed over the Easter bank holiday weekend.. Here are some quick links to services you may need, please use the search option above for all other help articles.
 
The SIZ service will be closed from Good Friday through to Easter Monday, reopening Tuesday 7th April. 
 
The LRCs will be open only for University of Chichester Student and Staff self-service use between 1000-1600 during this Easter period.  Your campus card will be required for entry during this time.

Library Resources:

Library loans will continue to renew automatically, unless another user has requested them.  Please bring requested books back at your earliest convenience.  You can continue to access the Library catalogue, eResources, subject support, and more via the Library’s Moodle page and the Help website, including live chat support.

eBooks are available from our eBook platforms.

Access to information systems:

Please note that all University systems (Chiview,  Email, Library E-Resources, MAF, Moodle, HR, etc) will continue to operate normally over the break, and that all of these can be accessed both on and off-campus..

Accessing systems and software remotely:

Password recovery with password.chi.ac.uk:

You can reset your password or unlock your account by visiting http://password.chi.ac.uk and following the instructions.

Multi Factor Authentication – Please always ensure that you have more than one option enrolled with Microsoft Authenticator in order to access your account. If you have a new device, this will be required before you switch from the old device.  Instructions on how to add additional types of authentication can be found at help.chi.ac.uk/MFA

Urgent Mental Health and Wellbeing support:

If you need mental health support over the break you should,

  • For an immediate emergency requiring the Police, Ambulance or Fire Service, dial 999
    We strongly advise you dialling 999 in all cases of overdosing, even if you do not feel unwell; delaying help can be fatal.

  • Contact your GP for an urgent appointment

  • Call the 24/7 Sussex Mental Health Line on 0300 5000 101 (24 hours)

  • 24/7 Crisis messenger text service: text ‘SHOUT’ to 85258

  • Attend your nearest A&E department for an urgent assessment

  • Contact the Samaritans on 116 123 (24 hours)

  • The Mix (Essential support for under 25s) – 1:1 webchat support between 4pm and 11pm

  • For on-campus first aid and security, call 01243 816363
