The Anita White Collection #

The collection comprises papers accumulated by leaders in the women’s sports movement and is held in the archives at Chichester. These papers were amassed in the course of their research, study and work in the fields of the sociology of sport and sport science, and their involvement as activists and leaders in the global women and sport movement.

Bishop Kemp Collection #

The former Bishop of Chichester’s personal collection of ecclesiastical books and pamphlets is held in the archives at Bognor.

Classroom Resources #

Marked CR in the catalogue, the Classroom Resources collection is located at Bognor Regis and is a collection of school practice materials used mainly by students on school placement. More information for our current students can be found on the Classroom Resources Moodle page where you can find help with choosing resources to use on placement, links to useful websites and information about becoming a book reviewer for our collection

CTC #

The Collection of the former Chichester Theological College is identified by a purple CTC label and is integrated within the Theology section. The Collection is located on the first floor of the Learning Resources Centre at Bishop Otter, with an archived stock of more historical material at Bognor.

Documents of Historical Interest #

Located at Bishop Otter, these include 19th century parliamentary papers and Historical Association pamphlets.

Gerard Young Collection #

This local history collection includes photographs, postcards, newspaper cuttings and other documents relating to the Bognor Regis area, which are now located in the West Sussex Record Office in Chichester. An associated book collection is in the archives on the Bognor campus.

Ted Walker Archive #

Located at Bishop Otter on the second floor of the Learning Resources Centre, the Ted Walker Archive contains manuscripts and letters of the Sussex poet and essayist. For further information, please contact the English Subject Librarian.
