If you are the account manager and know the password you can access the generic account in a web browser using the following steps:
1. Visit http://mail.chi.ac.uk, or click on any email link on the University website
2. Input the username and password of the resource account. The username is the first part of the email address e.g. events
However, if you are automatically taken to a different email account (e.g. your personal one), try the following:
- Logout of University email in all browser windows
- Close all browser windows
- Re-open your browser
- Now try logging in with the generic account again
