Overview #
Changing Course
A student may be able to change to a different programme of study; however, any change will be dependent upon meeting admission requirements for the new programme, the availability of the programme including timetabling constraints, and the amount of credit achieved at the point of transfer.
Before completing a Change in Registration request please check with your Academic Department/Institute whether this option is available. NOTE: the University of Chichester Conservatoire only allows students to submit a Change in Registration request for Level 5 onwards and after auditions scheduled at specific points in the year.
Changing Mode of Attendance
You can elect to slow down or speed up your pace of study by switching between full and part-time study. Part-time study at the University is deemed to be the equivalent of 6 (15-credit) modules or less per academic year. You need to carefully consider whether there will be any financial implications in changing your mode of study (e.g. tuition fees, council tax) and you are advised to discuss this with the Student Money Advisors (studentmoney@chi.ac.uk).
