Using email to log and update a job
The quickest method for logging a job is to email firstname.lastname@example.org. However, please mention which organisation you study at, confirming that you are a collaborative partner student.
Once our helpdesk have acknowledged your job on the system, you will be sent an email confirmation including a reference number.
If you want to update the job, simply reply to the email keeping the same email subject (containing the reference number).
If you want to monitor the full job history or recent progress of your job, then you can use the Support Me self service portal (see below).
Support Me self service portal
From the Support Me self service portalyou can:
- Log jobs for a variety of subjects, including IT and Library services
- Track your own jobs (including job history and view our updates)
- Update your own jobs (including feedback of service)
